2nd annual Health Partners Breast Cancer

Awareness Walk draws 500 on Sunday, October 13

Breast Cancer Pink RibbonMore than 500 area residents turned out to walk 3 miles for breast cancer awareness on Sunday, Oct. 13 to benefit the St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital Foundation.

The Second Annual Health Partners Breast Cancer Awareness Walk this year was extended to three miles and included a pink-ribboned Cement Truck to serve as a backdrop for event speakers and the drawings that took place for Gift Basket winners.

Event Chairman David Rasa, MD, thanked the participants and sponsors and called on them to join together again for the 3rd annual event in 2014.

Providing diagnostic imaging and radiology services, including x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT scans (CAT scans), virtual colonoscopy, cardiac CTA, cardiac calcium scoring, bone density scans and women's services, including digital mammography and breast MRI to residents of Wayne, Wyckoff, Haledon, North Haledon, Hawthorne, Midland Park, Franklin Lakes, Oakland and other northern New Jersey towns
